Is Clean-tech Air Purifier safe?
Yes, we’ve designed Clean-tech to be completely safe and used 24/7 even with people or pets nearby. Unlike traditional UVC sterilization devices which expose UVC radiation from germicidal bulbs outwardly making it dangerous to be near when in use, Clean-tech takes all the hospital sterilization technology and puts it in an ultra compact size and keeps all the UVC radiation inside.
Does it release ozone?
Clean-tech does not produce any ozone. The bulb is a mercury-arc germicidal 254nm UVC lamp designed to produce the highest amount of UV radiation at the optimal wavelength that is lethal to microorganisms. 90% of the energy is generating 254nm. The quartz glass tube is designed to block the transmission of the 185nm ozone-producing wavelength, so our device CANNOT produce ozone.
Will it support AC power 110/120V and 220/240V?
Yes, Clean-tech includes an advanced power supply that will automatically handle both varieties without problems.
What are the sound levels of the device?
There are two primary modes. The first is the Quick Clean Mode which turns the device to max speed for 2 hours. In this max speed setting, the decibel level is 58 which is just below normal conversation volumes. While, the second is a Whisper Quiet Mode that's designed to operate 24/7. It has a decibel level of 45, equivalent to the ambient noise in a library.
What are the annual costs to run it 24/7?
Based on the calculations, Clean-tech is rated 38 watts on average. This means it consumes 27.4 kWh of electrical energy in a month based on a daily 24 hours of usage, which will cost $3.3 at 12 cents/kWh energy rate. Assuming you are running it for 365 days this puts you at a usage of 328.80 kWh for the entire year, which will cost you about $40 at the same energy rates.
Is your HEPA filter washable?
No, our HEPA pre-filter is not washable. It is a paper based filter that will be damaged when washed. To extend the life of the filters, you can use a dry method like vacuuming to loosen particles captured on the filter.
How long does the HEPA filter last?
The HEPA 11 pre-filter is designed to last between 6 to 12 months depending on the environment and usage. The purpose of the pre-filter is to remove the larger particulates from entering the UVC chamber, but allow smaller particles through for purification.
What is the life expectancy of the UVC bulb?
The UVC lamp is rated for 16,000 hours or about 24 months depending on the usage.
How much square footage will it cover?
Clean-tech is recommended to cover a 200 sq ft area. The rule of thumb for air purifiers is to put one in each room that needs to be cleaned. In larger environments, space the devices evenly with equal spacing to maximize the coverage.
Where is the best place to put Clean-tech Air Purifier?
Like most air purifiers, placement of the device is key to proper usage. Objects such as walls and doors may affect the airflow and reduce the performance. Clean-tech operates by creating a circular air flow cycling around the room by pulling in dirty air from the bottom and pushing clean air from the top in all directions. We recommend placing Clean-tech in an open area preferably in the center of the room for maximum performance.
How efficient is Clean-tech in removing pollutants from the environment?
In our most recent 3rd party lab test results in a closed laboratory chamber of 20 m³ (~700 ft³) and 30 m³ (~1000 ft³) Clean-tech a removal rate of microorganisms in the air was as high as 99.99%. Comparatively, most HEPA style filters today can only remove 99.97% because there are airborne particles that cannot be trapped and must be inactivated with a technology like UVC.Access the 9/16/2020 Lab Result 1
Can it remove pollen from the air?
Yes, Clean-tech will remove pollen from the air. The pre-filter is a HEPA 10 rated and therefore it will capture at least 99.97% of particles with a diameter greater than or equal to 0.3m which converts to 0.3μm. Pollen ranges in sizes from 15 to 200 μm so it will be effectively removed by Clean-tech.

We offer Standard Shipping at $20.00 via FedEx.
If you select Expedited Shipping, an additional $15.00 fee will apply. We will fulfill any orders placed before 2pm Pacific Time the same business day, otherwise they will be shipped the next day. This excludes weekends and holidays within the United States.

Is there a product warranty?
Clean-tech will offer a 1-year manufacturers warranty for any defects through our RMA process. We will be providing technical support through email and web chat once we enter final fulfillment.
When do I receive my refund?
Our payment processor will submit the refund to your bank immediately, but depending on the bank processing time, it can take anywhere from 5-10 business days to show up on your bank account.
In some cases, the refund may be processed as a reversal, meaning the original payment will simply disappear from your account statement and the balance will reflect as though the charge never occurred.
If you don't see the refund after ten business days, and you are still seeing the original charge on your bank statement, please reach out to your bank for more information. If there is further difficulty, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.

If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have 30 days from the date of shipment to request a full refund including shipping charges. If you purchased your Clean-tech Air Purifier through an authorized retailer, please return it to the retailer with proof of purchase and in accordance with its policies. You may return any physical product purchased on clean-tech.co in accordance with the terms below:
To qualify for a refund, all the following conditions must be met:

- You must ship the Product from a location inside the country where the Product was originally purchased.
